CTS — Catalytic Thermal Steam

EGV Solutions manages the operation of CTS technology, a field-proven solution for recovering heavy and extra-heavy crude oil. It's the result of years of applied scientific research.

The process relies on an aqueous mixture of catalysts: micro-spherical cracking catalysts, aluminum oxide for sulfur treatment, and amorphous nickel-cobalt and aluminum silicate catalysts, dosed at 10,000–20,000 ppm depending on the crude.
